Our 3rd Annual Illuminate Weymouth will take place Saturday, November 20th at 5:00pm at Old South Union Church in Columbian Square. After the indoor portion of the program, a lighted procession will take participants out to the lawn area between Old South & Fogg Library…for all to participate in!
This special event focuses on young people and their ability to be that “little light” making a difference in the lives of many. The program features inspirational music and more. The winner(s) of the Weymouth 400 essay contest will read their response to the question “Who illuminates your life?” providing a powerful moment of gratitude and giving. Finally, the recipient of the “I’m Gonna Let it Shine” Award will be announced. This award honors an individual or organization that, through their actions, has touched the lives of many. It is a reminder that just one thoughtful act can change the lives of many.
