Bring the entire family to enjoy orchestral music up close and personal with America’s oldest community orchestra at their home for more than two decades — Sanctuary Hall at East Weymouth Congregational Church, UCC.
Guest conductor Max Hobart, a longtime violinist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, conducts the 45-piece Southeastern Philharmonic in a rousing program of award-winning music from the 1965 Oscar-winning classic, “The Sound of Music;” “Hoedown” from Aaron Copland’s “Rodeo,” and music by John Williams from “Raiders of the Lost Ark” and “E.T.: The Extraterrestrial.”
