Heritage Park Dedication – the geographical center of Weymouth has gone through some major renovations. The walk-way is 400′ long emblematical of the 400 year anniversary of the original settlement. Throughout the park will highlight the town’s rich history & events and serve as a historical marker for years past and our future.
Join Mayor Hedlund and special guests for the dedication of Heritage Park, located at the corner of Washington and Middle Streets. The ceremony will begin at 3pm and include brief remarks about the importance of the site as well as the unveiling of a new statue and monument.
Parking is available onsite, 210 Winter Street, 708 Middle Street (Bank), or the DPW parking lot.
